Earlier: Today’s game has started off in nightmare fashion for the Miami Dolphins. They’re trailing the Bills 14-0, and Tua Tagovailoa has been taken to the locker room.
Tua went down with an injury after taking a crunching hit from Buffalo defensive lineman A.J. Epenesa. He walked gingerly to the sideline in pain and was later carted off.
We’re awaiting word on what Tua is dealing with, but in the meantime, he’s been replaced by Jacoby Brissett. Understandably, Miami fans are concerned, given the second-year quarterback’s injury history dating back to college.
Here’s a look at some of the reaction to Tua’s injury from around the NFL.

First DG. Now Tua. I’m actively protesting football.

Hoping he’s ok. IMO, the drop from Tua to Brissett isn’t big. https://t.co/9v2BEmrfaZ

First seven dropbacks for Tua: Sack, sack, throwaway, penalty, throwaway, screen, incomplete (w/ a big hit on qb)

Tua played effectively in Miami’s season-opening win against the New England Patriots last week. He was just 1-of-4 passing for 13 yards before getting hurt today.
We’ll share more news on Tua’s health when it becomes available.
Update: Officially, Tua has a rib injury and is questionable to return.

We’d expect Miami to be cautious with him the rest of the day.
