The Miami Dolphins really don't have anything to look forward to this year. Their team is bereft of talent (and what little talent there is may be traded), can barely score points, and can barely defend.

But what Miami does have to look forward to is the future. One sad Dolphins fan made that much abundantly clear today.

A photo taken at today's game between the Dolphins and Chargers shows one sad Dolphins fan wearing a bag over their head. On the sides of the bag are pictures of tanks with the tagline "Tanking for Tua" written above them.

Miami currently trails Los Angeles 30-10 in the fourth quarter. With a loss, they would drop to 0-4 on the season.

The Dolphins failed to address most of their most pressing needs in free agency or the draft. They followed up that effort by trading top players such as Laremy Tunsil, Kenny Stills and Minkah Fitzpatrick for draft picks.

As a result, the Dolphins have a sizeable war chest for the 2020 NFL draft. If they get the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, they could be in a position to land highly-touted quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

But for now, the Miami Dolphins may have to contend with the fact that fans will be miserable for the rest of the year. If their little plan works out though, it may not be much longer than a single year.
