Antonio Brown is a member of the New England Patriots.
A few months ago, anyone who read that would think it’s a joke. However, heading into Week 2 of the NFL season, it’s reality.
The All-Pro wide receiver started his 2019 off-season as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The team traded him to the Oakland Raiders who then released the star wide receiver after a series of truly bizarre incidents.
Bill Belichick and company swooped in and landed the seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, signing him to a one-year deal with a team option for a second season.
Brown is ready for a change of scenery and a fresh start.
An excited Patriots fan caught up with the newest addition to the team while driving this week. Brown said he’s “extremely grateful” to be a part of the team.
Just had this video sent to me taken outside Gillette Stadium. Can confirm Antonio Brown is fully in the mix.
Q: “How excited are you to be on the Patriots?”
AB: “Extremely grateful, bro.”

Brown didn’t see the field against his former team on Sunday night.
However, he should see the field when the team takes the field against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon. It will be interesting to see how Tom Brady spreads the ball around to Brown, Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon.
New England and Miami kick off at 1:00 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast on CBS.
