Dez Bryant was spotted with Jerry Jones on Tuesday night, taking in a Beyonce and Jay-Z's "On The Run II" tour show at AT&T Stadium.
Given the Dallas Cowboys' passing game struggles in their Week 1 loss to the Carolina Panthers, some speculated a potential burying of the hatchet. Jerry may still have fond feelings for Dez, but given how the divorce went down, and Bryant's harsh words for others in the franchise, it seems unlikely.
Bryant seems to think he's set to join a team soon, though.
According to one Dallas-area radio host Dez Bryant was telling people at the concert that he's "probably" signing with the New England Patriots.
105.3 The Fan's Gavin Dawson had this response to the picture of Bryant and Jones making the rounds on Twitter this morning.
The Patriots have been a focus of Dez's in recent days.
Over the weekend, he spent plenty of time tweeting about the Week 1 NFL games, including Cowboys-Panthers. He also identified two teams that he would be interested in playing for: New England and Washington.
The Patriots could probably use some receiver help, with Edelman serving his suspension. Chris Hogan, the de facto No. 1 guy in the meantime, was more or less totally shut down by the Texans defense last week.
It didn't really impact the final score though. The Pats took the game 27-20.
Bryant reportedly had an offer from the Ravens early in the off-season. He also had a highly publicized meeting with the Browns, which was documented during HBO's Hard Knocks. For now, though, he remains unsigned.
