Donald Trump has a number of high-profile supporters with the Patriots, and picked New England to win by eight. With the Pats down big, Trump reportedly left his Super Bowl party early.

According to a report from the media pool, as tweeted by Time White House correspondent Zeke Miller, Trump left the party at his Florida resort Mar-a-Lago at 8:57 p.m., during Lady Gaga's halftime performance. The Patriots trailed the Atlanta Falcons 21-3 at the half.

Trump had been watching the game with White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.

During an interview with FOX News' Bill O'Reilly that aired ahead of the game, Trump picked the Patriots to win the game by eight points. While Atlanta extended its lead early in the second half, the Patriots are making a late run. After forcing a massive turnover, Tom Brady just cut the Falcons lead to 28-20 with just under six minutes remaining in regulation. The President may see his preferred franchise capture its fifth Super Bowl championship yet.
