Here's Devour's Uncensored "Food Porn" Commercial That Won't Air During Super Bowl

Devour uncensored commercial Super Bowl.

Every year, we hear about a number of commercials that don't wind up making the cut for the Super Bowl. It's easy to see why the one below needed to be toned down.

Devour, which is Kraft-Heinz's frozen food brand, will be airing a 30-second commercial during the third quarter of this year's Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams. But it's a watered-down version of the full spot, which did not make the cut.

According to Adweek, the word "porn" is the issue with the full 60-second spot.

In the clip below, a distraught wife tries everything she can to break her husband of his "food porn" habit. There are a number of NSFW references, including one about watching "amateur" frozen food videos. It's both weird and funny at the same time.

Devour released the video on YouTube on Wednesday morning. It already has 100,000 views. That's some solid viral marketing.

It's unclear what the 30-second spot will feature, but it obviously will be toned down. Hopefully, the whole gist goes over kids' heads.

This year's Super Bow will take place on Sunday, February 3. It'll be interesting to see if any of the commercials that actually air have as viral an impact as what we're seeing here.
