The future of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the biggest story-line heading into the 2020 season. He’s a free agent for the first time in his career, which could lead him away from New England.
According to multiple reports, several teams are interested in landing Brady. Those teams include the Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raider and the Indianapolis Colts.
However, another team was mentioned as a possible landing spot for the veteran quarterback. It’s a destination that seems far-fetched, but maybe it’s not too crazy after all.
According to Zolak & Bertrand’s Scott Zolak, the New York Giants are a potential landing spot for Brady if he moves on from the Patriots.
From the report:
Somebody “not from the Brady side but very connected” told [Zolak] “don’t fall asleep” on the New York Giants as a possible landing spot for Tom Brady in free agency.
It’s an interesting landing spot for Brady, one that doesn’t seem to hold up on further inspection.
Brady, who turns 43 before the 2020 season, wants one thing: a ring. Sorry to Giants fans out there with unreal expectations, but the team isn’t close to competing for a Lombardi Trophy – even with Brady under center.
Would Brady leave New England for a team that twice beat him in the Super Bowl?
