Earlier: As expected, the New England Patriots are taking it to the New York Jets today in Foxboro, but wide receiver Julian Edelman was banged up in the first half.

Edelman came up holding his chest area after being tackled late in the first half. He has officially been ruled questionable to return.

Here's a look at the play where Edelman was hurt. He caught a touchdown pass earlier in the half.

Nothing too obvious, but Edelman was pinned hard to the turf.

Josh Gordon has also come up lame today for New England, which has to be concerning for Bill Belichick. You don't want to lose any key players to injury during a blowout win. New England probably won't need either player to return this afternoon, but losing them for a longer period of time would be problematic. We'll keep you posted on Edelman and Gordon's status. Update: Gordon returned to the field, but Edelman has been downgraded to out.

We'll see if anything more comes out postgame.
