The former first-round pick has failed to make much of an impact during his first two years with the team and recently requested a trade. However, he’s still trying to make it work – and that was evident on Thursday night.
Harry and the Patriots faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles in their second preseason game. After a slow start to the contest, it looked like Harry and rookie quarterback Mac Jones were building up a nice rapport.
Unfortunately, that all came crashing down – literally. Jones attempted to hit Harry with a deep pass down the sideline, but the ball slipped through the wide receiver’s hands.
Harry didn’t have a chance to brace himself before his head and neck area hit the turf first.
Here’s video of the play.

It looked like Harry knocked himself unconscious as he laid on the ground not moving for a few seconds. After being tended to by the medical staff, the wide receiver was able to walk off the field under his own power.
He likely won’t return to tonight’s game after dealing with the injury. Before exiting the game, he caught one of his two targets for 19 yards.
Hopefully he makes a full recovery and can make it back on the field soon.
