Patriots vs. 49ers preview:

New England (7-2) is coming off of a loss last week to Seattle by a score of 31-24. San Francisco (1-8) has lost eight straight games after falling to the Cardinals last week 23-20.

The 49ers' offense struggled against Arizona last week putting up only 281 yards of total offense. Their defense was able to force two turnovers, but that wasn't enough to get the job done on the road. Colin Kaepernick was 17-for-30 through the air for 210 yards and a touchdown.

The Patriots' defense had a tough time against the Seahawks last week allowing 320 yards including 324 yards through the air. Tom Brady was efficient going 23-for-32 through the air for 316 yards, but he also had zero touchdowns and one interception on the night.

The 49ers hold a 8-4 record against the Patriots all-time in regular season matchups.

Patriots vs. 49ers Prediction:

The Patriots may have fallen last week, but that won't happen this Sunday against one of the worst teams in football. Brady and company will put in an angry and complete performance in San Francisco and get back to winning ways.

The 49ers' offense could have a long day against the New England defense as well. San Francisco may hang around for a while, but not when it is all said and done.
