One of the best free agents made his decision on Tuesday, as Robby Anderson signed a two-year deal with the Carolina Panthers. It’s a move that will reunite him with his former head coach at Temple, Matt Rhule.
Anderson was undoubtedly the best wide receiver on the New York Jets the past few seasons. In 2019, he had 52 receptions for 779 yards and five touchdowns.
Shortly after the news broke that Anderson left the Jets, All-Pro safety Jamal Adams went on Twitter to share his thoughts. He said. “Get yours brotha. You deserve it!”
Unfortunately for Adams, he received a decent amount of criticism from his fans for wishing his former teammate well in Carolina.

Adams is entering the fourth season of his young career. He’s one of the best players – if not the best – on the Jets.
Even though New York didn’t break the bank for Anderson this offseason, the front office clearly has a plan in motion. The Jets have added pieces to their offensive line, which means they could use their first-round pick on a talented wideout like CeeDee Lamb or Jerry Jeudy.
As for Carolina, it’ll be fun to see how Anderson performs with Teddy Bridgewater throwing him the football.
