Even though the majority of the sports world has been hindered by the coronavirus, the NFL has managed to have a pretty exciting offseason. One of the main reasons for that is because of all the trade requests coming in.
With training camp scheduled to start later this month, ESPN insider Field Yates provided a list of the four biggest names to request a trade this offseason. The top player on that list is Jamal Adams, who sounds all but done playing for the New York Jets.
Adams is seeking a massive extension, but the Jets haven't talked a new contract with him yet. He's certainly one of the premier safeties in the NFL, totaling 75 tackles and 6.5 sacks during the 2019 season.
Another star defensive player looking for a new home is Yannick Ngakoue. The Jacksonville Jaguars placed the franchise tag on him despite the fact that he doesn't want to suit up for the franchise ever again. He's had 17.5 sacks over the last two seasons.
This week, the rest of the NFL found out that San Francisco 49ers running back Raheem Mostert requested a trade. His agent shared the news on Twitter after the team failed to give his client a raise.
Mostert isn't the only offensive weapon that feels undervalued. Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku is also seeking a trade. This move makes a ton of sense since the front office signed Austin Hooper in free agency and drafted Harrison Bryant back in April.
All four players with known trade requests could make an impact elsewhere, especially Adams and Ngakoue.
Which player from this list do you believe is most likely to get traded?
