On Thursday night, Notre Dame safety Kyle Hamilton had to wait a little longer than he would have liked to hear his name called.

Once viewed as a top-five pick in the draft, the star safety started to fall. He slipped all the way out of the top 10 and eventually made his way to the Baltimore Ravens at No. 14.

It was what he did after he got drafted, though, that made headlines. He and longtime girlfriend Reese Damm celebrated him getting drafted in a unique way - with their very own handshake.

The moment quickly went viral on social media. It was so popular, in fact, that Hamilton was asked about the moment during his introductory press conference. "So, my girlfriend and I, Reece, Reece Damm, started dating in sophomore year of high school and I think we came up with the handshake in junior year or something like that," he said. "And so, we've just been doing it ever since and we just decided it seemed like the right time to do it."

It was the perfect moment and made for the perfect viral video.

Congratulations to Kyle on getting drafted - in seemingly the perfect place for a star safety.
