On Sunday afternoon, football fans tuning into the Baltimore Ravens game against the Detroit Lions were treated to a sight they rarely see.
Ravens star kicker Justin Tucker missed a 49-yard field goal attempt. Tucker, the most accurate kicker in the NFL history, had made 27-straight field goals on the road.
It was about time Tucker missed – especially against the Lions. According to Ravens reporter Jamison Hensley, the last time Tucker played the Lions he made all six of his field goal attempts.
In fact, he accounted for all of the Ravens points in that game.
