Earlier this week, the Baltimore Ravens made headlines when the team signed former Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant to the practice squad.
Bryant suffered a devastating injury with the New Orleans Saints in 2018. After taking the 2019 season off to recover, the former All-Pro receiver finally got his shot.
Bryant and the Ravens are gearing up for a huge game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The winner of Sunday’s game will take the lead in the AFC North.
Before the huge game on Sunday, Bryant received a message from a former NFL star. Wide receiver Terrell Owens had a message for Bryant heading into his season debut – whenever that will be.
“Go Do Ur Thang!!!” Owens said. “No Need to prove ANYBODY WRONG! Just prove urself RIGHT!! Forget the HATERS, they’re always gonna be there! Wishing you nothing but success! Let the game come to you!”

Earlier this week, the veteran wide receiver played a vital role within the practice squad. He lined up on the scout team as No. 11 – Steelers star rookie wide receiver Chase Claypool.
Bryant likely won’t make much of an impact through his first few games after signing with the Ravens. However, he’s already proven to be a key role player in practice leading up to the biggest game of the season.
Pittsburgh and Baltimore kick off on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. ET.
