The new NFL season officially sits just under a month away, but fans don’t want to wait for news. Enter CBS Sports, which looked at the schedules for every team ahead of the 2020 campaign.
Earlier this week, CBS Sports released a list of the teams with the most difficult schedules heading into the 2020 season. After enjoying a nice reprieve by playing the AFC East over the years, the New England Patriots face the toughest schedule this season.
The rest of the AFC East and the San Francisco 49ers rounded out the top five of the most difficult schedules. But which teams have the easiest schedules in the NFL this coming season?
That designation belongs to the Baltimore Ravens, whose opponents won just under 44-percent of their games in 2019. The Pittsburgh Steelers follow close behind, thanks to the poor play from the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns last season.
Here’s the full top five:
- Baltimore Ravens
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Dallas Cowboys
- Cleveland Browns
- Washington Redskins
The Ravens, who owned the best record in the AFC last season, have the easiest road back to the playoffs.
Pittsburgh, with Ben Roethlisberger back in the fold, also has a great shot at making the playoffs after an 8-8 season.
Meanwhile, the Cowboys are one of the favorites to come out of the NFC – once again.
