Ravens star linebacker Zach Orr is retiring at just 24 years old, after being a second team All-Pro in 2016.
According to NFL.com insider Ian Rapoport broke the shocking news on Twitter this morning.
Mike Garafolo has more on the injury that is reportedly leading Orr to a very early retirement.
Orr was a second team All-Pro this season, recording 132 tackles, five passes defenses, three interceptions and a forced fumble in 15 games this season, before missing that week 17 game. The former North Texas standout caught on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2014, playing primarily special teams as a rookie. Just two years later, he became an all-pro, and weeks later, has announced his retirement.
Of course, health is always most important, so we wish Orr the best in recovering from his injuries.
