Yesterday, the Cincinnati Bengals took Joe Burrow at No. 1 overall. Today, they got him a nice weapon, opening the second round by selecting Clemson wide receiver Tee Higgins.

If anything, the Bengals have a promising receiving corps. When healthy, A.J. Green is one of the best in the league. Tyler Boyd put together a 1,000 yard season last year.

Higgins will be another big body for Burrow in 2020. Last fall, he caught 59 passes for a career high 1,167 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also ran the ball one time for a 36 yard touchdown.

Listed at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, the Tenn. native is going to be a pretty big matchup nightmare in the red zone, especially if A.J. Green is healthy and demanding attention.

According to ESPN's broadcast, Burrow and Tee Higgins worked out together in Los Angeles ahead of the NFL Draft. They weren't teammates, but that certainly helps get the quarterback-receiver chemistry off to a nice start. Higgins is the third Clemson Tiger off the board so far. Do-it-all defensive star Isaiah Simmons was the eighth overall pick by the Arizona Cardinals in the first round last night. Cornerback A.J. Terrell was a surprising early pick by the Atlanta Falcons at No. 16 as well. The Bengals could have a pretty dangerous offense in a few years. [
