On Sunday afternoon, the Cleveland Browns entered their game against the Tennessee Titans a five-point favorites. However, it was clear very early in the game that Baker Mayfield and company were in for a fight.
Tennessee took it to the Browns in their own stadium and walked out with a 30-point win. The Titans rode running back Derrick Henry to a 43-13 win to open the season.
Browns fans in the stands booed the officials at halftime and made it clear they weren’t happy with their team’s performance.
One fan in particular let his feelings show by throwing beer on a Titans player.
Titans’ defensive back Malcolm Butler went to celebrate with a Tennessee fan in the stands when he and several teammates were splashed with beer.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Browns released a statement about the fan’s actions. Cleveland announced the fan has been identified and has been suspended indefinitely from the stadium.

The Browns entered the season as a dark-horse Super Bowl contender, but flamed out in Week 1.
Next up for the team is a trip to New York to take on the Jets. We’ll have to wait and see if Mayfield and company can find the same magic that led to a win over the Jets in 2018.
