On Sunday afternoon, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns took the field for their second game against each other in just three weeks.
The last time these two teams played against each other, it ended in chaos as star defensive end Myles Garrett received an indefinite suspension to hitting Mason Rudolph with his own helmet.
Cleveland entered this afternoon’s game as the favorite and scored the first 10 points of the game. However, the Steelers battled back thanks to third-string quarterback Devlin Hodges making a few key throws.
At the end of the day, Pittsburgh’s defense clamped down and forced a game-ending interception from star quarterback Baker Mayfield to seal a 20-13 win.
Following the game, Browns fans flocked to social media to show their displeasure for head coach Freddie Kitchens.
A few fans think he should be fired for the team’s loss today.
1 of the most embarrassing losses by #Browns to the #Steelers ever! Season on the line facing Pitt w/undrafted 3rd string QB Duck Duck Goose, top RB/WR(Connor & Ju Ju)out & starting All Pro center Pouncey out as well. Up 10-0 & lose 20-13, a fireable offense for #FreddieKitchens!

The Steelers’ offense was made up primarily of backups. Starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, star wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster and running back James Conner were all out with injuries.
However, Pittsburgh found a way to win, lead by rookie quarterback Devlin Hodges. Second-year wideout James Washington came up huge as well, racking up 111 yards on four receptions – one of which went for a touchdown.
With the loss, Cleveland is effectively knocked out of the playoff race. Meanwhile, the Steelers improved to 7-5 with the win and are in position for the playoffs.
Will Kitchens last more than one season with the Browns?
