With the Browns performing somewhat below expectations, there’s been rumblings that they would be better off trading star wideout Odell Beckham Jr.
But if there are any conversations going on between the Browns and other teams, Cleveland GM John Dorsey isn’t aware of them.
Speaking to ESPN, Dorsey shot down the idea of offloading Odell Beckham in a trade. He reportedly referred to the rumors as “fake news” in his dismissal.
There was a report that surfaced last week that the Browns were listening to offers for Odell Beckham Jr., to which Browns’ general manager John Dorsey told ESPN: "That's fake news."https://t.co/H6R3e4EBli

Beckham has been pretty underwhelming since joining the Browns on a blockbuster trade with the New York Giants this past offseason.
Through five games he only has 335 yards and one touchdown to show for it. That touchdown and nearly half of his yardage came in one game against the winless New York Jets.
Beckham is currently averaging his lowest rates of his career in all major receiving categories.
But at least his hands are as good as ever. He currently leads the team in receptions with 23.
Nevertheless, the Browns gave up quite a lot to land Beckham. If they feel that this may not be their year, it wouldn’t be a crazy idea to try and get some big assets from a team that wants him and retool for next year.
Cleveland is currently 2-3 and will host the Seattle Seahawks today.
