Everyone's Laughing At The Browns For Who They Hired Today

Cleveland's latest front office move is not being received well. At all.

The Browns have made an addition to their front office.

Cleveland announced this evening that it has hired former Indianapolis Colts GM Ryan Grigson, who was fired by the franchise after the 2016 season. Grigson was, among other things, responsible for the disastrous Trent Richardson trade with the Browns that lost his team a first-round pick.

“Ryan brings valuable experience to our personnel group,” Cleveland Executive Vice President of Football Operations Sashi Brown said in a release. “He was raised as a road-scout and has been evaluating talent in this league for almost 20 years. We place a premium on that experience and on his passion for football. Ryan has much to offer to any personnel department and we are pleased that he chose to join our staff.”

The move is not being received well by those outside Cleveland's front office.

Former Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee thinks it's laughable.

Some reaction from others:

The Browns haven't had a winning season since 2007.
