Jarvis Landry Has Brutally Honest Comment On Browns’ Start

On Monday night, the Cleveland Browns suffered an embarrassing defeat at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers. Kyle Shanahan’s offense ran all over the Browns’ defense en route to a 31-3 win.

After the game, the Browns faced a few tough questions. Quarterback Baker Mayfield fled the pocket on nearly every pass play as the 49ers front attacked for four quarters.

It’s been a tough road for the Browns, who sit at 2-3 on the season. After taking down the Baltimore Ravens, the Browns looked like serious contenders in the AFC.

Now they’re lucky to be mentioned in the same sentence as “playoffs.”

Wide receiver Jarvis Landry had a brutally honest take on the team’s struggles this season.

Here’s what he told Cleveland.com:

“Our focus has to be on we may not be as good as we thought we were and we need to find ways to play to our potential. We just haven’t been playing to our potential.”

The road doesn’t get any easier for Mayfield and the Browns, who welcome Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks to town this weekend. Can Cleveland pull the upset?

Cleveland and Seattle are set for a 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. The game will be broadcast on FOX.
