Former Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel got into it with a Browns supporter on Sunday night.
Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, who won a Heisman Trophy at Texas A&M before putting together a disappointing two-year professional career, was at the Patriots vs. Steelers AFC title game on Sunday night, rooting on Tom Brady & Co. That apparently irked at least one Browns fan on Twitter.
The fan, who earlier in the year championed the idea of a parade for a potential 0-16 Browns squad, got into it with Manziel, who earlier in the week declared himself sober with intentions of returning to the game.
Manziel eventually tweeted and then deleted a note about "not wanting" any part of Ohio anymore.
If Manziel is serious about resurrecting both his life and his career, he might be better served to get off of social media altogether. Getting into it with fans of his former team isn't going to help him achieve any of his goals.
