Terrelle Pryor On Pacman Jones' "Garbage" Comments: "I Was Garbage, He Was Right"

Terrelle Pryor was held to just three yards on one catch against the Cincinnati Bengals last weekend. After the game, cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones called him "garbage."

Jones, the latest in a line of opposing cornerbacks to be bothered by the Browns breakout wide receiver, even pretended to look in a trash can for Pryor after the Bengals win. When asked about Jones' comments, however, Pryor couldn't really disagree.

From ESPN:

Asked by reporters about Jones' comments, Pryor initially said he wouldn't get into it. But the more he spoke, the more he talked about Jones and trash talk.

He even said Jones had the right to call him garbage.

"I had one catch, three yards," Pryor said. "I was garbage. He was right. It was an accurate statement."

The comments came during a particularly contentious media session for Pryor, who also lashed out at reporters who asked about an apparent argument between him and quarterback Robert Griffin III. Pryor is having a huge, surprising season, with 63 catches for 858 yards and four touchdowns. He is one of the few bright spots in a dreary 0-13 season for the Browns, but it is hard to really blame him for being frustrated based on how awful the fall has been for Cleveland.
