Cleveland may have made a huge mistake.
The NFL trade deadline closed Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. E.T. Several high-profile players are headed to new teams.
Cleveland and Cincinnati reportedly attempted to make a trade involving quarterback AJ McCarron.
However, it appears Cleveland may have sent the trade into the NFL office too late.
Another reporter close to the team reported that the Browns were caught celebrating their trade, and forgot to call it into the NFL.
It looks like the Browns will be stuck with a struggling DeShone Kizer with backups Kevin Hogan and Cody Kessler moving forward.
