Antonio Brown was slowly distancing himself from the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the All-Pro is once again making cryptic comments about his former team.
In an interview with KDKA, Ben Roethlisberger revealed that he wasn’t pleased with how he handled his relationship with Brown. The key moment that he highlighted was how he reacted after the team’s loss to the Denver Broncos toward the end of regulation.
“Did I got to far after that Denver game? Probably,” Roethlisberger said. “That’s the thing about media and social media, As soon as you say ‘sorry’ it only goes so far. You can’t take it back. And I wish I could because if that’s what ruined our friendship and relationship, I’m truly, genuinely sorry about that.”
Roethlisberger’s comments about his behavior didn’t exactly have a positive effect on Brown, who had an emphatic response on Twitter.

It seems highly unlikely that Brown will make amends with the Steelers in the near future. Besides, he doesn’t need to be on the same page as Roethlisberger since they’re on different teams.
With Brown no longer in the Steel City, it’ll be on JuJu Smith-Schuster to become the top receiving option. He’s made it very clear that he gets along just fine with Roethlisberger.
Pittsburgh will try to put this drama behind them, meanwhile Oakland hopes that Brown can lift its offense to new heights.
This storyline will be one to follow throughout this upcoming season.
