Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown has been busy on his apology tour over the past few weeks. Brown issued an apology to the NFL as a whole earlier this month, but then got a little more personal.
He went on a local Pittsburgh radio show to apologize to the Steelers for the actions that led to an ugly divorce with the organization. The Steelers shipped Brown to the Oakland Raiders for a third and a fifth-round pick after the new league year kicked in.
Well, he wasn't done there. Brown took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to offer a personal apology to Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
"Mostly you a little bit of me! Yee yee!! I never realized how good I had it, got caught up in my emotion with everyone coming after me I really apologize for my actions sincerely man ! It’s never been another connection like what we done in the past decade. I appreciate you. Sincerely AB," Brown said on Instagram.
Brown publicly called out Big Ben during the 2019 NFL season, calling him a "loser." He made a few more unsavory comments about Roethlisberger, pointing out the allegations of sexual abuse against the quarterback.
The six-time Pro Bowl wideout is clearly working to get back into the league.
Stay tuned for the latest.
