The majority of predictions around the league have the New England Patriots signing Antonio Brown, who was just released by the Oakland Raiders. Vegas betting odds seem to agree with that potential pairing.
It’s pretty unusual for an All-Pro player to be available in September, but Brown’s rift with the Raiders resulted in him becoming a free agent.
While there’s no telling which teams will actually enter the sweepstakes for Brown, the early odds lean toward him joining the defending champions.
The five favorites to sign Brown are the Patriots, 49ers, Packers, Cardinals and Seahawks.
San Francisco and Seattle lack an elite weapon at wide receiver. As for Green Bay and Arizona, they have proven commodities in Davante Adams and Larry Fitzgerald.
Other teams with decent odds are the Ravens, Giants, Dolphins and Steelers.
Just the thought of Brown returning to Pittsburgh sounds bizarre, but it would make for an interesting story.
Now that Antonio Brown has been released by the Raiders, which team will he play his first game with in 2019?

Most analysts are linking New England to Brown due to its history of adding troubled stars.
The Patriots could use more depth at wide receiver. Outside of Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon, the offense lacks consistent playmakers.
Even if Brown does sign with another team on Saturday, he’s not eligible to play in Week 1.
