The Pittsburgh Steelers enter the 2021 offseason with plenty of questions regarding the current roster.

The team appears to have answered one of the biggest questions: what to do with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. On Wednesday morning, Steelers president Art Rooney II released a statement saying Ben will be back in 2021.

With that in the rearview, the Steelers can turn their attention to the plethora of free agents the team has to make a decision on. One of those is star wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who led the team with 97 receptions and nine touchdown receptions in 2020.

Late Tuesday night, Smith-Schuster made it clear he wants to be back with the Steelers for the rest of his playing career. "At the end of the day, I want to have my legacy in Pittsburgh and retire there," the 24-year-old told TMZ. "I don't want to leave."

Despite leading the Steelers with 97 receptions, Smith-Schuster managed just 831 receiving yards. His 8.6 yards per reception was the worst of his career by a wide margin.

It's not all his fault, of course, as the Steelers had him running shallower routes during the 2020 season.

While his stats might not jump off the page, Smith-Schuster remains one of the top free agent wide receivers on the market. He could command more than $15 million per season with a new team.

The Steelers, pressed up against the cap, might not be able to make that work.
