It was not a good Sunday night for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but at least they’ve received positive injury news regarding wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster.
Smith-Schuster was banged up in Pittsburgh’s 33-3 loss to the New England Patriots. He sustained a toe injury late in the game and was seen heading into the X-ray room after the game.
Steeler nation can exhale. According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, all x-rays were clear.
Sounds like he’ll be good to go in Week 2.
#Steelers WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, who was spotted going into the X-Ray room last night, is going to be fine, source said. X-Rays negative and it all came out ok.

Smith-Schuster made six receptions for 78 yards in Sunday night’s loss. He is clearly Pittsburgh’s No. 1 option with Antonio Brown out of town.
The Steelers play the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 2. Seattle took down another AFC North team, the Cincinnati Bengals, in Week 1.
Once a team starts 0-2, its odds of making the playoffs decrease dramatically. With that being said, it would behoove the Steelers to work out the kinks before Sunday.
