The NFL has officially made a decision on Thursday night’s game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers. The league has postponed the Thanksgiving night game until Sunday.
Baltimore and Pittsburgh, which were scheduled to play at 8:20 p.m. E.T. on Thursday, will now play on Sunday afternoon.
“This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel and in consultation with medical experts,” the NFL said in a statement.
Baltimore had several positive COVID-19 tests this week. The Ravens would have had several notable players out on Thursday night, including Mark Ingram and J.K. Dobbins. Steelers players, meanwhile, appear to be furious with the decision.
i’m not gone lie @NFL THIS IS BULLSHIT…

The Steelers appear to be furious because they feel they are getting harmed for other teams’ problems. This is the second time this season that Pittsburgh has had a game postponed because of another team’s issue.
this is BS
the Steelers keep getting screwed by the NFL while teams they are in direct competition with in the AFC (Titans & Ravens) get massively boosted
meanwhile SF is forced to play without half their roster
we know the season is crazy but at least try to make it fair, NFL

Pittsburgh entered the yr with 1 bye (wk 8) & 1 mini-bye (post-Thanksgiving)
they practiced wk 4 to play TEN but the NFL shifted that game to their bye (wk 8) for covid on TEN
no bye
due to covid on BAL, they lose a short-week home primetime game (a nice edge)
and no mini-bye

It’s understandable for Steelers players to be upset. However, this is what happens when you try to play a season in the middle of a pandemic. There are unfortunately going to be issues and some teams will be impacted more than others.
Pittsburgh has handled things pretty well this season, anyway. The Steelers are the league’s only undefeated team.
