Steelers LB Ryan Shazier Named To His First Pro Bowl

Third-year linebacker Ryan Shazier was named to the 2017 Pro Bowl, replacing the injured C.J. Mosley of the Baltimore Ravens.

Steelers third-year linebacker Ryan Shazier has been named to his first Pro Bowl.

The 6-foot-1, 230-pound Ohio State product will be replacing Ravens LB C.J. Mosley, who is unable to participate due to injury. Shazier finished the 2016 regular season with 87 tackles, 3.5 sacks and three interceptions. He also forced three fumbles.

Fellow Steelers Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell, Ben Roethlisberger, Maurice Pouncey and David DeCastro will join him in the 2017 Pro Bowl. It's the 25th time in the last 28 seasons the Steelers will be sending multiple players to the Pro Bowl.

Shazier was the Steelers' first-round draft pick in 2014, and went No. 15 overall.

The 2017 Pro Bowl will take place on January 29, and will kick off at 8:00 p.m. E.T. You can catch the game on ESPN.
