There’s still a long ways to go until NFL teams return to begin preparations for the 2019 season. But Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster just can’t wait.
This past weekend, the Steelers’ Pro Bowl receiver found a different venue to practice his ball-catching skills: A local mall.
Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Smith-Schuster posted a video of him and some locals playing a game of football in the middle of a mall. In one instance, the person throwing the football accidentally hit the glass window of a shop.
In the last clip, Smith-Schuster catches a ball on a slant and slips away from all of the would-be tacklers as the video ends.

Smith-Schuster led the Steelers in receptions and receiving yards in 2018, surpassing All-Pro teammate Antonio Brown in both categories.
He nearly doubled his reception output, going from 58 catches in his rookie season to 111 this past year, good for sixth in the NFL. His 1,426 receiving yards were also a 500-yard jump from the previous year, and were fifth in the NFL.
Smith-Schuster wound up replacing Brown on the Pro Bowl roster. He had one catch for 16 yards in the game.
Given the drama surrounding the Steelers and Brown, it’s very possible that his incredible production will only continue to increase in the months and years to come.
