Andrew Luck's ankle injury has become one of the biggest storylines in the NFL. While there isn't a guarantee he'll be ready for the season opener, the star quarterback seems to be recovering well.

The lack of clarity on Luck's injury was a problem for most of training camp. Indianapolis originally diagnosed it as a calf injury, but then later changed it to a high-ankle issue.

Since the Colts are taking a cautious approach to Luck's recovery, he'll remain inactive throughout the preseason. Head coach Frank Reich understands that the priority is having his signal-caller ready for Week 1.

It's too soon to predict whether Luck will be active for the season opener, yet it's pretty clear he's improving each day.

Before the second game of the preseason began for Indianapolis, Luck was seen on the field warming up.

Dan Graziano of ESPN shared a video of Luck practicing his footwork on Instagram. Considering that he's dealing with an ankle injury, the former No. 1 pick looks to be in solid condition.
