Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck continues to rehab the shoulder injury that required surgery and cost him the entire 2017 season. He hit a pretty important benchmark in his recovery today.
For the first time in months, Luck threw a football in front of media members. He's participating in the team's minicamp this week.
Considering how long it took Luck to get back to this point, this is pretty significant. He's not back yet, but it's a start.
The video of Luck tossing the rock can be seen below.
When Luck was healthy, he was on his way to being a top-five quarterback in the NFL. We'll have to see if he can ever get back to that level.
Luck threw for 4,240 yards and 31 touchdowns in 15 games in 2016. The last time he started all 16 games (2014), he threw for 4,761 yards and 40 touchdowns.
That was also the year the Colts made the AFC title game.
