Report: 'Odds Are Against' Andrew Luck Starting Season Opener

This star QB could miss at least one game.

Andrew Luck underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in January. Luck initial prognosis after the surgery was that he would be ready for the season opener.

However, new reports suggest that Luck might not be ready for the Colts' first game.

ESPN's Mike Wells suggested the odds are not in Luck's favor.

The Colts have been mum on Luck's injury, although he remains on the physically unable to perform list.

As long as he remains on that list, he will not be able to practice with the team. Now, Luck surely knows the offense, but to start Week 1 without any reps in the preseason would be a stretch, even for someone as talented as Andrew Luck.
