T.Y. Hilton, a vital playmaker for the Indianapolis Colts, really struggled in the first half of today’s playoff game in Kansas City.
He wasn’t the only member of his team to do so.
The Chiefs head to halftime with a 24-7 lead at home. The lone Colts score came on a blocked punt touchdown. To make matters worse, Adam Vinatieri, who is famous for clutch playoff kicks in the snow, doinked one off the upright from just 23 yards out to end the half.
Otherwise, the inclement weather hasn’t done much to slow down the explosive Chiefs passing attack.
Hilton went for 85 yards in last week’s impressive win over the Texans, and went for 1,270 yards and six touchdowns through the air in the regular season.
Today, so far: one catch on two targets for 10 yards.
Late in the first half, T.Y. Hilton was seen limping pretty badly off the field.
We don’t have too much information yet, but if Hilton is limited, there may not be a path for a big Colts comeback here.

Hilton’s been playing through an ankle injury, so that might be acting up.
We’ll have more once the Colts release info on Hilton’s status for the second half.
