On Thursday night, the Jacksonville Jaguars will face the Tennessee Titans in an AFC South showdown. This game could play a major role in deciding the division later in the year.

Jacksonville is coming off a last-second loss to the Houston Texans, whereas Tennessee lost its home opener to the Indianapolis Colts.

Arguably the biggest storyline heading into this matchup revolves around Jalen Ramsey. Earlier this week, the All-Pro cornerback requested a trade.

Regardless of the fact that Ramsey wants out of Jacksonville, he'll be active on Thursday. The defense needs to be effective in order to keep the pressure off rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew II.

The Jaguars have home-field advantage for this matchup, but ESPN's early prediction sides with Marcus Mariota and the Titans.

According to ESPN's Football Power Index, the Titans have a 61.5 percent chance of defeating the Jaguars.

Losing another game within the division would be a tough blow for Jacksonville or Tennessee.

Usually, the Jaguars and the Titans play each other very close. It's a defensive battle that comes down to which offense can generate more explosive plays.

Kickoff for this game is at 8:20 p.m. ET from TIAA Bank Field.

This game will be broadcast on NFL Network.
