As the Jaguars prepare to play the Saints this weekend, rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew has landed on the injury report. He was limited in practice on Thursday.
Kyler Murray and Daniel Jones have been the most talked about youngsters this year, but Minshew might be having the best rookie season out of all them.
Minshew has filled in admirably for Nick Foles, who suffered a broke collarbone in Week 1. In fact, the sixth-round pick could remain the starter for the rest of the season.
While the Jaguars expect Minshew to be available this weekend, the Washington State product was limited today due to a groin injury.
Jalen Ramsey was also limited in practice for Jacksonville.

It’d be tough for the Jaguars to beat the Saints if they don’t have Minshew. That probably won’t be the case though.
Last Sunday, Minshew threw for 374 yards and two touchdowns. His chemistry with DJ Chark and Dede Westbrook has been on display the past few games.
Jacksonville will reveal Minshew’s game status tomorrow. By then we’ll already know if he participated in the final practice of the week.
In the event Minshew cannot play on Sunday, the Jaguars would hand the keys to the offense over to Joshua Dobbs.
