Last week, the Jacksonville Jaguars announced star corner Jalen Ramsey wouldn’t be on the field when the Jags faced off against the Carolina Panthers.
Ramsey missed practice over the past two weeks, though his absence was not connected to his trade request. Head coach Doug Marrone revealed Ramsey saw a specialist for his back injury last week, but he seems to have progressed well over the past week.
After missing two straight games due to a back injury, Ramsey is expected to practice on Wednesday.
The team released a list of the injured players expected to take the field this afternoon.

Before the game against Denver in Week 4, Ramsey reiterated his desire to be traded from the team in an interview with Uninterrupted.
While he’s asked for a trade publicly – numerous times – ESPN’s Adam Schefter revealed the Jags are “dug in” on not trading Ramsey.
“If I had to look into my crystal ball & make a prediction, my read would be that he’s not traded this year. That’s not to say it couldn’t change by next week but right now, this week, I believe Jacksonville is dug in.”
Jacksonville is set to face off against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon.
