When the Jacksonville Jaguars take the field on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans corner Jalen Ramsey will be there.

After a confrontation with head coach Doug Marrone on Sunday, Ramsey reportedly requested a trade from the organization. Despite significant interest, Ramsey remains a member of the Jaguars heading into tonight's game.

The team had a decision to make: let him play and risk injury, or bench him to protect a potential trade piece.

Just hours before kickoff, the team made its decision.

Ramsey will be on the field.

If Ramsey goes down with an injury, the Jaguars won't receive nearly the haul they hope to in a potential trade. However, the team still wants to win and Ramsey playing in the defensive backfield gives Jacksonville the best chance to do that.

The Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs have reportedly shown interest in trading for the former first-round pick. Baltimore has also reportedly inquired about the price of trading for Ramsey.

There's plenty of interest, but for now, he'll suit up for the Jaguars in a pivotal contest against a division-rival.

If Jacksonville loses, the Jaguars will fall to 0-3 on the season and will have a long road to the playoffs.
