It’s a rough day at the office for the Tennessee Titans as they find themselves trailing the Cleveland Browns by double digits early in the second quarter. But it’s even rougher for Titans star wide receiver A.J. Brown who just went down with an injury.
After slipping while running a route in the second quarter, Brown stayed on the ground and grabbed his shin and ankle. He was able to walk off the field on his own, but not without some difficulty.
The footage doesn’t look good at all. He appears to roll on his own ankle before falling. He was taken to the blue medical tent, but did not stay long.
BE OK AJ BROWN 🙏🙏

Luckily, Brown returned to the field a few minutes later. Whether there are any lingering effects of his fall remain to be seen.

A.J. Brown had a breakout campaign as a rookie in 2019, catching 52 passes for 1,052 yards and eight touchdowns. This year he’s once again the Titans’ top receiver with 40 receptions for 638 yards and another eight touchdowns. He leads the team in yards and touchdowns.
Needless to say, the Titans would like to keep him healthy as they continue their dogfight for the AFC South.
Hopefully Brown can give them a big performance today. As of writing, they trail the Browns by three scores in the second quarter.
The Titans-Browns game is being played on CBS.
