Following training camp practice on Wednesday, Tannehill revealed to reporters that he is “in the process” of being vaccinated against COVID-19. Presumably, this means he has yet to receive his second dose.
Tannehill also said he would not have gotten the vaccine if not for the NFL’s new policies, which include the possibility of teams having to forfeit games if they are responsible for a COVID-19 outbreak that leads to a postponement that can’t be made up.
Ryan Tannehill told the media he’s “in the process” of being vaccinated and would not have done it “without the protocols they’re (the NFL) forcing on us.” #Titans

Judging by his answers, Tannehill isn’t staunchly against vaccination, because he ultimately got the shot. It makes you wonder if he had previously felt he didn’t need to be inoculated or just didn’t feel comfortable taking the COVID-19 vaccine.
Either way, the NFL is probably very happy to see the new rules had their intended effect on one of the league’s better quarterbacks.
