On Thursday night, the Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the Tennessee Titans in a matchup of division rivals.
The Jaguars were in desperate need of a win after dropping their first two games of the season. Jacksonville got off to a hot start tonight after rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew connected on two touchdown passes in the first quarter.
Trailing 17-0 early in the fourth quarter, the Titans needed to put some points on the board.
On a first-and-10 from the Jaguars 25-yard line, Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota found wide receiver Corey Davis to move the sticks.
Mariota's throw was off target, but Davis snagged it with one hand for the best catch of the game.
Check it out.
Tennessee drafted Davis in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft to make catches like this. Unfortunately, Mariota has struggled to find the talented wide receiver and Davis' time in Tennessee has gotten off to a slow start.
The former Western Michigan star failed to record a reception in the team's first game of the season. He bounced back in Week 2 with three catches for 38 yards against the Indianapolis Colts.
Tonight, Davis has two receptions for 25 yards.
Jacksonville holds a 20-7 lead midway through the fourth quarter.
