Brandon Marshall has lost a sponsor.
Brandon Marshall, a Broncos linebacker and a college teammate of Colin Kaepernick at Nevada, kneeled during the national anthem last night.
Air Academy Federal Credit Union announced on Facebook today that it is parting ways with Marshall, who had been a spokesman for the company for five months.
Marshall said after the game that he is not against the military or America.
"I’m just against social injustice," he told reporters.
The Broncos released this statement to NBC about the kneeling.
While we encourage members of our organization to stand during the national anthem, we understand and respect it being a personal decision.
Kaepernick is expected to continue his protest Monday night before his game against the Rams.
