Report: C.J. Anderson Expected To Miss "At Least A Few Weeks" With Knee Injury

Denver Broncos running back C.J. Anderson injured his knee in Monday night's win over the Houston Texans.

According to NFL.com's Mike Garafolo, the C.J. Anderson injury will be enough to keep the tough runner out of action for "at least a few weeks."

Anderson rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown on only 16 carries on Monday, his first 100-yard effort of the season. He has rushed for 437 yards and four scores this fall.

Any C.J. Anderson fantasy football owners should target his backup Devontae Booker, if they haven't already. Booker, a rookie out of Indiana, rushed for 83 yards and a TD Monday and has also shown promise as a receiver.

Depending on how much time Anderson has a miss, the Broncos should be able to shoulder the loss. However, in order for that offense to click at its best, it could use him and Booker healthy and providing a 1-2 punch.

Denver (5-2) hosts the San Diego Chargers at 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday.
