After trading for quarterback Russell Wilson, it's clear that the Denver Broncos are gearing up for a Super Bowl run. But are they also trying to add star pass rusher Chandler Jones?

On Friday, Broncos insider Benjamin Allbright speculated that the Broncos might try to add Jones in free agency. Jones is coming off a wildly successful six-year run with the Arizona Cardinals.

This past year Jones had 10.5 sacks and 26 QB hits as he made his fourth Pro Bowl. He has 107.5 sacks and 195 QB hits in 139 career games for the Cardinals and New England Patriots.

Broncos fans appear thrilled by the idea of adding Jones into the fold. Some believe that adding Jones and bringing back team legend Von Miller would make their top-10 defense even better.

The Denver Broncos went all-in on the 2022 and 2023 seasons by trading for Russell Wilson. He might finally be able to give the team the stability at quarterback that they've lacked since Peyton Manning retired after winning Super Bowl 50.

Of course, Manning led the Broncos to that Super Bowl largely on the back of their top four defense. And wouldn't you know it: The Broncos have a top tier defense already.

First-year head coach Nathaniel Hackett has a big task ahead of him after five straight losing seasons. But Chandler Jones could offer the Broncos a big boost on defense in his first season.

Will the Broncos make a move for a big-name pass rusher this offseason?
