This Morning's A.J. McCarron-To-The-Broncos Rumor Has Been Refuted By Everybody

This one fizzled out quickly.

Earlier today, a Denver radio station reported that the Broncos were trying hard to trade for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback A.J. McCarron.

Denver has a quarterback problem, as neither Trevor Siemian nor Paxton Lynch has seized the job. Would they be in the market for the soon-to-be 27-year-old McCarron, who has played in just eight games (three starts) in his NFL career.

Apparently not, according to everyone else in the media. No sooner had the original report come out, it was being widely denied and dismissed by NFL writers nationwide.

Even Broncos VP of Football Ops John Elway categorically denied the possibility of his team acquiring McCarron.

There you have it.
