If we want to have football this fall, people need to start wearing masks, which have shown to have a significant impact on halting the spread of COVID-19. One Kansas City company is trying to drive that point home to Chiefs fans with a new Patrick Mahomes-themed mask.

In just two years, Mahomes has become a true Kansas City legend. The former first-round pick won the NFL MVP award in his first year as starting quarterback back in 2018. Earlier this year, he led the Chiefs to the franchise's first Super Bowl title in 50 years.

Obviously the Chiefs don't want to waste a year of Mahomes' prime. The team will be Super Bowl favorites once again this fall, assuming we have a season. The best way for fans to try and help the situation is to mask up.

A local Kansas City company called Raygun is trying to appeal to Chiefs fans with a new mask up for sale. It reads "Help Keep Patrick Mahomes Safe: Wear A Mask." You can't argue with that messaging.

According to The Kansas City Star, the masks retail for $15. Keeping Mahomes, and everyone's neighbors and loved ones of course, safe isn't the only benefit.

35-percent of the sales of the masks will be donated to local food banks. The company says it is also donating masks to those in need.

If there's any quarterback that you want to see perform this fall, please do your part.
